Boise Bead Society is dedicated to providing support and encouragement to all jewelry designers, creators and bead enthusiasts.
Annual membership dues are $20.00 a year. Meetings are held the 2nd Thursday of every month at 6:30 P.M. BBS
members design and work with a variety of jewelry making mediums. We have joined together to provide a means of community
support, education and resources for each other and for our community. From beginning beaders and jewelry designers
to nationally acclaimed bead and wirework experts, to metalsmiths, metal and polymer clay artists and glass bead makers....all
are welcome. BBS 2011 PROGRAM SCHEDULE
Meetings are held at Joanns Fabrics on Wilwaukee (across from Home Depot), at 6:30 PM on
the second Thursday of every month.
Supplies needed for May 12th project:
One 15 to 30mm button with a shank for the clasp 4 or 6 mm large hole beads or gemstone beads (4mm approx 50 for 7 inch length
- for 6mm approx 30 for 7 inch length) double or triple those numbers for double or triple wrap bracelet - 1 or 2 cards silk cord with attached needle in a color that blends with leather
- Twisted wire needle
- Diagonal wire cutters
- GS Hypo cement glue
- Leather 24 inches (for
single wrap), 40 inches (for double wrap) or 52 inches (for triple wrap bracelet)
