Chinese Knotting Cord  in .8mm  is a must-have for  macramé, braiding, and kumihimo. Made in China or Taiwan of braided nylon, it has a subtle stiffness that gives a nice grip for knotting.  Dyes are colorfast but may vary from one batch to another and not recommended  for wearing in water.   Sold on 10 yard spools or cards
